Frequently Asked Questions
Spirituality is not limited to religion, and it doesn’t require belief in G-d, a faith tradition, or formal practices.
When we speak about spirituality, we are referring to the deeply human experiences that help us feel connected - to ourselves, to others, to nature, to the numinous, or simply to something larger than our day-to-day lives. This can include:
moments of awe or wonder
experiences of mystery or “something more”
a sense of inner wisdom or intuition
connection to creativity, ritual, or meaning-making
exploring values, purpose, identity, or legacy
the felt presence of ancestors, loved ones, or memory
encounters with grief, love, or beauty that shift us
You do not need to be religious (or even consider yourself “spiritual”) to benefit from spiritual care. The work meets you exactly where you are, grounded in your own language, worldview, and lived experience.
Seasons of the Soul is for anyone living with a life-limiting or palliative diagnosis who wants support navigating their journey with clarity, meaning, and emotional care.
Many people find it helpful when they are:
Navigating a new diagnosis or medical transition
Reflecting on life, legacy, or values
Wanting to connect more deeply with self, others, or the world around them
Preparing for end-of-life decisions or conversations
Experiencing fear, anxiety, or existential distress
This work is inclusive and flexible, meeting you exactly where you are; regardless of beliefs, background, or stage of illness.
It may not be the right fit for those seeking only medical advice or crisis intervention. If that’s the case, I can help you connect with the appropriate support first.
Seasons of the Soul offers spiritual care grounded in the rhythms of human experience. Whether you are arriving in a new chapter, navigating the fullness of life, preparing for change, or sitting with grief, we work gently with the “season” you’re in.
Our work helps you pause, understand what’s emerging, and move forward with clarity and support.
Not at all. Seasons of the Soul is non-denominational and inclusive; it meets you exactly where you are. Some people bring spiritual questions, and others focus purely on emotional or psychological support.
This work is about being human, not adhering to any tradition.

Broad and flexible, shaped by your own lived experience

Simply put: I work with anyone who seeks support, no one will be left without care. My role is to meet you where you are, prioritize your needs, and walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and compassion.
Supporting you fully sometimes means connecting you with a higher level of care, or a trusted colleague whose experience better matches your current needs. Whatever the path, my focus is always on helping you feel seen, supported, and held throughout your journey.
This work particularly welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals, people from underrepresented communities, individuals who use substances, and those exploring MAiD. But truly, all are welcome.
Yes. If it feels supportive for you, we can involve the important people in your life: chosen family, close friends, or members of your care circle. This might include exploring how they can meaningfully support your wishes, participating in ritual development, or joining care-circle meetings where we clarify your needs, hopes, and values.
Client confidentiality is always paramount. Any information shared with your care circle will be guided entirely by you. We welcome community support in this work, but never at the expense of your privacy or the trust we build together.
You can begin by reaching out through the contact form. We'll talk about what you’re looking for, and together decide what feels like the right starting point for you. Your journey is uniquely yours, I’m here to support you as you step into it.
