Frequently Asked Questions
Spirituality is not limited to religion, and it doesn’t require belief in G-d, a faith tradition, or formal practices.
Spirituality is referring to the deeply human experiences that help us feel connected - to ourselves, to others, to nature, to the numinous, or simply to something larger than our day-to-day lives. This can include:
moments of awe or wonder
experiences of mystery or “something more”
a sense of inner wisdom or intuition
connection to creativity, ritual, or meaning-making
exploring values, purpose, identity, or legacy
the felt presence of ancestors, loved ones, or memory
encounters with grief, love, or beauty that shift us
A palliative diagnosis or life-limiting illness refers to a health condition that may not be curable and can significantly impact quality of life over time. This can include serious or chronic illnesses where the focus of care may shift toward comfort, support, and quality of living - alongside or instead of curative treatment.
Importantly, while end of life care is often part of palliative support, many people live for months or years while receiving palliative care; continuing active treatment, work, relationships, and daily life. Hospice care, by contrast, typically refers to care provided in the final months of life, when treatment is no longer focused on cure and shifts toward prioritizing comfort and quality of life.
Support is available at any stage. People seek this work at many points: after diagnosis, as illness progresses or changes, or when wanting space to explore anxiety, meaning, or future care wishes.
Not at all. Seasons of the Soul is non-denominational and inclusive. Some people bring spiritual questions, and others focus purely on emotional or psychological support.
This work is about being human, not adhering to any tradition.
This framework:
is broad and flexible, shaped by your own lived experience
may include a specific belief system, religiosity, a combination, or something still evolving
supports connection to yourself, others, the world around you, and the universe
Seasons of the Soul offers spiritual care grounded in the rhythms of human experience. Whether you are arriving in a new chapter, navigating the fullness of life, preparing for change, or sitting with grief, we work gently with the “season” you’re in.
Our work helps you pause, understand what’s emerging, and move forward with clarity and support.

This work is for those living with a life-limiting or palliative diagnosis who wish to engage with their experience in a supported, intentional way.
Seasons of the Soul provides a structured yet flexible framework for therapeutic and spiritual care, helping you move through uncertainty, grief, and the emotional and existential challenges that accompany the journey toward the end of life.
Many people find it helpful when they are:
navigating a new diagnosis or medical transition
reflecting on life, legacy, or values
wanting to connect more deeply with self, others, or the world around them
preparing for end-of-life decisions or conversations
experiencing fear, anxiety, or existential distress
It may not be the right fit for those seeking only medical advice or crisis intervention. If that’s the case, I can help you connect with the appropriate support first.
Simply put: I work with anyone who seeks support, no one will be left without care. My role is to meet you where you are, prioritize your needs, and walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and compassion.
Supporting you fully sometimes means connecting you with a higher level of care, or a trusted colleague whose experience better matches your current needs.
This work particularly welcomes 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, people from underrepresented communities, individuals who use substances, and those exploring MAiD. But truly, all are welcome.
Sessions are guided at your pace and tailored to your needs. They may include exploring:
emotions, patterns, and relationships
memories, identity shifts, or life transitions
legacy questions and practical planning
rituals or practices to mark and process experiences
I bring insight, tools, and presence to support your journey (and sometimes, a bit of humour) to create a space that feels alive and human.
